Track Check is an independent company specialised in pipeline measurement using technology developed in-house.
Track Check uses state-of-the-art gyro sensors that are not sensitive to external influences for measuring pipelines. Our years of experience and continuously developed hardware and software ensure the detection of pipeline locations with pinpoint precision. The measured values not only provide highly accurate as-built documentation, but can also be used to determine the radii of pipelines and to calculate the static stresses in the materials from which they are made.
The measurements are performed by pulling a probe attached to a pre-fitted draw cable through a pipeline with a winch. The probe is connected to a winch cable and a test lead so that real time data is produced as it traverses through the pipeline. Centralisers are used to ensure that the probe is always positioned in the middle of the pipeline. To verify and guarantee the complete accuracy of the readings obtained for the X-Y-Z coordinates, a second measurement is always carried out by guiding a probe through the pipeline from the opposite end. We naturally provide detailed and comprehensive reports showing pipeline locations.
